BackAfter going 90 mins. on Saturday, Bradley to evaluate defender
CHESTER, Pa. — Against Poland on Saturday in Chicago, Oguchi Onyewu played his first 90-minute match since the World Cup.
But can AC Milan's center back go another full game against Colombia on Tuesday in Philadelpia?
Onyewu didn't speak to the media after Tuesday's training session, but Bob Bradley addressed the situation at a press conference before the team took the field.
"The goal coming into this camp was to get him 90 minutes," the United States manager said. "He came out of it feeling pretty good. We'll see how he feels [on Monday] and factor that in with other things, [such as] looking at other guys, in terms of decisions for [Tuesday].
"I think we wanted to make sure that we could get him here and if training went well—which it did—get him a good 90-minute match and view that as a really important step."
